Mark Webber will receive a ten-place grid penalty after being reprimanded for walking onto the track at the end of the Singapore Grand Prix and catching a lift back to the pits on Fernando Alonso's Ferrari.

It was Webber's third reprimand of the season, which means he will be hit with a ten-place grid penalty in Korea. He caught the lift after retiring on the penultimate lap and waiting at the side of the track for his friend Alonso to pick him up.

According to an FIA notification Webber broke Article 30.9 (b) of the sporting regulations after he "entered the track without the marshal's permission between the commencement of the formation lap and the time when the last car enters parc ferme."

Alonso also received a reprimand because he "drove the car in a manner which could be deemed potentially dangerous to other drivers or any other person. In this case, two cars had to take avoiding action as a result [of Alonso stopping to pick Webber up]."
