Schumacher remains critical but stable
Michael Schumacher remains in a critical but stable condition, with his management asking the media not to speculate about his condition.
Schumacher spent a sixth night in a coma following his 45th birthday on Friday and his condition has not changed on Saturday. His family remains by his bedside while Ferrari fans held a vigil outside the Grenoble hospital on Friday in support of the seven-time world champion.
His manager Sabine Kehm released a statement on Saturday saying no official update is expected before Monday.
"Michael's condition remains critical but stable," she said. "We would like to clearly stress that any information regarding Michael's health not coming from the doctors treating him or from his management must be treated as invalid and pure speculation. The family cares only for Michael's health.
"Michael's helmet camera was voluntarily given to the investigating authorities by the family. That this should have been done against the wishes of the family is untrue. We ask you to respect the continued privacy of the family.
"In consultation with the doctor's treating Michael, it is not expected that there will be any press conference before Monday."
Although no update on Schumacher's condition, it was announced on Monday morning that there will be a press conference of prosecutors and police who are investigating the circumstances of the accident Wednesday.
