Felipe Massa says there is a lot more to come from Williams after setting the 12th fastest time during Friday practice for the Australian Grand Prix.

Williams entered the weekend as one of the favourites for victory, but in second practice did not feature in the top six on the timesheets.

Asked if Williams should still be confident heading into the rest of the weekend, Massa said: "Yes, sure. We need to feel that and believe that.

"We are trying to understand everything around the set-up and what will be the direction for tomorrow. That was our focus for today and definitely there is a lot more to come for tomorrow."

Massa thinks the usual suspects should also be strong this weekend.

"I think it is not any surprise to see the Mercedes up there and I saw also the Ferrari is quite strong. Also McLaren maybe will be there and Red Bull did the best test during their whole year. It's too early to be sure about anything, so we have to wait and see."
