Moyes goes scouting

Manchester United target Ilkay Gundogan has said he is yet to make a decision about his future.

The 23-year-old Borussia Dortmund midfielder is on David Moyes' radar and continues to stall over an extension to his contract, which is due to expire in 2015.

Dortmund's sporting director, Michael Zorc, recently said the club required clarity over his plans, and it appears they have no intention of allowing him to run down his contract after seeing Robert Lewandowski agree to join Bayern Munich on a free transfer.

However, the Germany international told Sport Bild: "Nothing is decided. BVB remain the go-to-guys. I will make a well-considered decision soon. Like I've said, everything is still open."

He added that the interest of United is "being hyped up by media" and that he is "not concerned with it" right now.

For now, Gundogan is concerned with returning to the playing field. He has not featured this season after suffering a back injury in August, and although he is now over that problem, he was forced to leave Dortmund's winter training camp in Spain on Wednesday as he is suffering with bronchitis.

There was better news for Dortmund on Mats Hummels, who told a news conference on Tuesday that he hopes to return at the end of the month after having been sidelined with an ankle injury since mid-November.
