Injury scare for Beckham

David Beckham caused a stir after limping out of Tottenham's training session on Wednesday, but the 'injury' was later revealed to be a mere blister.

Beckham, who is training with Spurs in the MLS off-season, will have worried his club LA Galaxy with his 15-minute treatment for the complaint, but was able to resume the session without any further trouble.

Galaxy were fearful of loaning their star player out after he ruptured his ankle ligaments while on loan at AC Milan last year, and the latest scare will not have filled them with confidence.

Thankfully, though, the Spurs medical staff were able to deal with the blister and the incident is believed not to have affected Beckham's chances of sealing a January move.
