Kevin Na netted his maiden PGA Tour title by triumphing at the Justin Timberlake Open in Las Vegas on Sunday.

Na began the day tied for the lead with Nick Watney, before firing a six-under 65 that took him to 23-under for the tournament.

Watney finished at 21-under after a final-round 67, while Tommy Gainey and Paul Goydos were tied for third at 18-under.

"I'm just very excited about my first win," said Na. "It wasn't easy. Nick was coming right behind me. It looked like any time he was going to make a move, and I tried the best that I could to stay one step ahead of him. I think the putt on 17 [a 42-footer for birdie] basically sealed the deal for me."

Watney, who began the FedEx play-offs in the No. 1 position but couldn't close out the victory, said: "One thing I re-learned this week was how serious I was taking it, how badly I wanted to play well the last couple of months. That doesn't always translate into good golf, so this week I came here with no expectations. I took it very easy and played pretty nice."

Elsewhere, Martin Laird failed to mount a challenge over the four days, settling for a tie for 40th position on 11-under. The Scot finished the week with a disappointing 71.
