Rory McIlroy is already casting an eye on next year's Masters, the Northern Irishman divulging his desperation to win at a course where he has "unfinished business".

The 22-year-old is currently taking part in the four-man Grand Slam of Golf - featuring the winners of this year's majors - in Bermuda, with the US Open champion well placed to end Europe's drought in the event.

McIlroy is currently on four-under-par alongside US PGA winner Keegan Bradley in the 36-hole shoot-out, the first prize of $600,000 well within reach. However, it is the Masters - not that enviable sum of money - that is playing on McIlroy's mind.

At Augusta earlier this year, McIlroy endured a final-round meltdown, throwing away a four-shot lead to finish 10 shots behind eventual winner Charl Schwartzel in joint 15th place.

Despite his infamous round of 80, McIlroy insists he is relishing a return to the scene of his collapse. He said: "I had a great chance to win the Masters this year and didn't quite grab it. Charl played some great golf to shoot 66 and birdie the final four holes to win it, but I feel I've got some unfinished business there."
