Tiger Woods insists he has rediscovered his love for golf after putting his injury struggles behind him.

Woods dropped out of the world's top 50 during 2011 following a rash of fitness problems - in all, he was only able to play in ten official events on the PGA Tour.

But he ended on a high with a victory in his final tournament of the season, the Chevron World Challenge, and now enters the next 12 months with a sunnier disposition.

"The lowest moments [last year] came from the fact that I wasn't healthy and couldn't put in the time on and off the course that I wanted and needed to, and that was frustrating," Woods said.

"I was playing with pain and that isn't fun. The last couple of months have been really fun and that is mostly because I am feeling healthy again and building week on week."
