- Qatar Masters, Round Three
Dominant Lawrie wraps up four-shot triumph

Paul Lawrie completed a four-shot victory at the Qatar Masters after carding a bogey-free final round of 65, his comfortable win seeing him triumph at the same tournament he won in 1999.
The Scot produced a flawless final round, which included five birdies and an eagle at the par-five ninth, to finish four ahead of Australian Jason Day and Peter Hanson and earn him a seventh European Tour title.
Day began the third and final round - the tournament was reduced to 54 holes due to heavy winds and sand storms that allowed only three hours' play on Friday - with ground to make up but he quickly established momentum to catapult himself up the leaderboard.
He got off to a flyer: four consecutive birdies from the first gave him a terrific start, though his charge was checked somewhat with two dropped shots before the turn. Another four birdies put him into contention but a round of 65 was not enough to overhaul Lawrie.
Sweden's Peter Hanson tied for second with Day on 11-under-par following a colourful five-under 67. Four birdies, a bogey and an eagle featured on his card, with seven straight pars at the start of his round preventing him from mounting a serious challenge on the title.
First-round leader John Daly put his poor second-round effort behind him to finish the week on a high. The American fell off the pace with a 73 on Saturday but came back strongly to clinch fourth place. There was early encouragement for Daly as he picked up shots on his opening two holes, with another arriving shortly afterwards at the fourth. Two bogeys showed he was still battling for consistency but he rallied coming in to end on nine-under, courtesy of a fine 67.
Sergio Garcia tied for fifth following a 68, while Lee Westwood - aiming to become the first Englishman to win the event - finished tied 12th after a patchy 69. There were plenty of positives in his 18 holes as seven birdies suggest, but he dropped four shots along the way.
