Tiger Woods does not feel his putting struggles will jeopardise his chances of winning The Masters in April - instead, he claims he can find a solution to his problems in one day.

Woods was eliminated from the WGC-Accenture Match Play on Thursday when he missed a five-foot birdie putt at the last, allowing Nick Watney to seal a one up triumph.

It was the latest disappointing day on the greens for Woods, whose putting has not improved this season at the same pace as his play with the driver and irons; he took 61 putts across his two rounds in Arizona this week.

He says the problem is that he is blocking putts - and, when asked how easy that is to sort out, he replied: "I should be able to fix it in about a day."

Meanwhile, Watney said: "I feel a bit fortunate. We don't see him miss putts like that very often - and there were a few of them. I don't think that this will be a day that either of us will look back on as far as putting goes."

Watney will now face Lee Westwood, who has reached the third round of the tournament for the first time in his career. Watney has beaten Westwood in each of the past two years, and the Brit said: "What's going on? This is uncharted territory for me," said Westwood. "Now I've got a chance to get revenge."
