Lee Westwood admits he struggled to work out the best strategy on an exhausting Sunday at the Indonesian Masters.

Westwood had to finish his third round and play the entirety of his fourth, following a suspension on Saturday caused by bad weather.

He managed to win the tournament by two strokes - his second victory in Jakarta in as many years - after reaching 16 under, but stumbled over the finish line in the end, bogeying three of the last eight holes.

"Today [Sunday] was hard," Westwood said. "It is never easy playing in these conditions and I had to play 32 holes. I was really feeling it on the back nine. When you are in contention and under pressure, it zaps your energy faster.

"You never know how to play with such a big lead. It was a case of staying patient and calm and playing the holes correctly. It was exhausting.

"It is tough when you are the favourite because if you don't win then it will be disappointing. There was a lot of pressure so I'm glad I did it."
