Tiger Woods is confident that the troubles that plagued him during The Masters last month are now a thing of the past, having worked to rectify the issues with swing coach Sean Foley.

Woods failed to find any consistency during the year's first major at Augusta, regularly spraying the ball way out left from the tee as his swing failed to fire in spectacular style.

The American, a multiple Masters winner, ended the tournament in a tie for 40th at five over, having failed to post any rounds below 72 across the four days.

He returns to action at this week's Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow, which features a high-quality field, and is hoping he will not be plagued by the same problems again.

"At The Masters, I was kind of struggling with my ball-striking a little bit. Sean and I fixed it," Woods said on his official website.

"It had to do with posture. My setup wasn't quite right, as well as my takeaway. I just needed to do hundreds of reps. I'm getting dialed in."
