Tiger Woods' caddie Steve Williams has admitted his fears that the world No. 1 may suffer from a lack of match practice at the Masters.

Woods returns from an absence of over four months to combat personal problems when he steps out on to the famous turf at Augusta. His problems are well documented and there has been speculation about the sort of reception he will receive, but Williams expects the galleries to be appreciative of the four-time Masters winner.

"The people that go and watch at Augusta are called patrons, not spectators," Williams said on Sky Sports. "They are all golf fans. It is a difficult tournament to get in to. It is the only tournament in the world where there is a waiting list to get in there and they are very specific about who they let in. They are genuine golf fans and I don't expect any of them to have a problem."

The concern for Williams is whether Woods can make a challenge for the Green Jacket. He has been working tirelessly on the range near his Florida home, but Williams admits there is nothing like tournament play to sharpen the skills.

"Going into a Major is difficult at the best of times," Williams said. "Having not played a practice tournament, or pre tournament, it is going to be difficult. Just to keep the focus on what we are doing is going to be the foremost thing on my mind."
