Donald: Only a major would silence critics

Luke Donald feels he is on track to pocket multiple majors over the next few years, having successfully defended the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth over the weekend.
Donald grabbed the world No. 1 spot back from Rory McIlroy with a four-shot triumph: his sixth victory in the last 15 months.
However, none of those successes have come at one of the sport's biggest events, and he admits he will never win over his doubters unless he gets his hands on a major trophy - possibly at next month's US Open.
"The next step after defending such a huge title has to be winning majors - and I do mean more than one," Donald said. "One major would probably satisfy my critics but I feel I've got the game to go better than that over the coming years."
Meanwhile, Justin Rose, who finished joint runner-up at Wentworth alongside Paul Lawrie, has climbed to his highest ever position - sixth - in the world rankings. Jason Dufner, second behind Zach Johnson at the Crowne Plaza Invitational, has moved above Tiger Woods and into eighth.
