Ryan Moore claimed his second PGA Tour title with a one-stroke victory over Brendon de Jonge at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open on Sunday evening.

After shooting 66 on the final day, Moore seized victory from de Jonge's grasp, finishing the tournament 24-under at at TPC Summerlin. Tied with De Jonge and Jonas Blixt after the third round, Moore started in solid fashion and birdied the 16th hole to move into the lead before holding his nerve to close out the win.

Moore made a decisive move on the back nine, sinking three birdies to surge clear of playing partner De Jonge. It was a US$4.5 million pay day for Moore in Las Vegas, with Zimbabwe's De Jonge falling short after closing with a 67.

De Jonge, seeking his first win on the PGA Tour, remained solid throughout the round, but was left to rue a bogey on the par-four third hole. The 32-year-old ended the day with five consecutive pars and had to settle for a second-placed finish.

Tour rookie Jonas Blixt finished third as he slipped off the pace with a 70 on Sunday. The Swede ended the event 20-under, four strokes behind Moore, while Jason Day stormed up the leaderboard with a final-round 65 to finish 18-under the card.

Scotland's Russell Knox earned a share of 13th place following a 72 on the last day. But it was a day to forget for England's Gary Christian and American John Daly, who finished one-over and 11-over respectively.
