Win a day at Portrush with Darren Clarke

There have been few more popular major winners in recent years than Darren Clarke and Your Golf Travel is giving golfers the chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend a day with three friends and the 2011 Open champion - and play golf with him on his home course.

The world's largest golf travel company has teamed up with Tourism Ireland to offer an amazing trip to Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland to play alongside Clarke on its famous Dunluce Course.

As well as playing 18 holes at last year's Irish Open venue, winners will have the chance to take three of their friends with them and pit their wits against the European Tour legend in a challenge hole contest on the course.

And the fun won't end there as guests will then have the chance to unwind in the company of Clarke at the nearby Bushmills Inn with an evening's entertainment including a whiskey tasting, dinner of traditional Irish stew and Ireland's world-famous Guinness.

Overnight accommodation, return flights to Belfast and transfers are also included in the stunning prize, with the winners flying out to Northern Ireland on June 24.

Set on the breathtaking Causeway Coast, Royal Portrush is widely regarded as one of the top courses in the world and the plethora of other top-class venues in Northern Ireland makes it a Mecca for golfers across the UK, Europe and beyond.

Clarke said: "We have some fantastic courses in Northern Ireland and I'll never tire of coming home to play golf at Royal Portrush. It will be my pleasure to welcome the competition winners next month for what promises to be a great day's golf. The course here is as good as people say it is and, on a nice day, there's nowhere I'd rather be."
