Scotland's Stephen Gallacher shares the lead with Thomas Bjorn at the halfway stage of the European Masters at Crans in Switzerland.

Bjorn dropped back alongside Gallacher on 10-under after bogeying the last from the middle of the fairway to record a second consecutive round of 66.

Bjorn made a total of six birdies but Gallacher went one better before a bogey at the 17th after finding a bunker from his tee shot.

Gallacher also looked in trouble on the 18th after hitting his approach into the grandstand, but managed to get up and down from the drop-zone in what proved a crucial save for a second-round 65.

"That was a solid round again," Gallacher said. "I hit the ball really well on the front nine and got my just rewards for the putts and I'm still in there for tomorrow.

"My back has been a bit sore but I've had a lot of physio and it has settled right down. I am having a break after this week to get it properly right."

Miguel Angel Jimenez, who also dropped a shot at the 18th, sits one stroke back alongside English trio Tommy Fleetwood, Danny Willett and Richard Finch as well as France's Victor Dubuisson.

Paul Casey is two shots off the lead while Padraig Harrington and Richard Sterne are both seven-under.

Francesco Molinari, Darren Clarke and Branden Grace all missed the halfway cut, as did defending champion Richie Ramsay.
