Sergio Garcia held off the challenge of Henrik Stenson, Justin Rose and Charl Schwartzel to win his first title of 2013 at the Thailand Golf Championship.

Garcia carded a fourth-round 68 to reach 22-under par and win by four from second-placed Stenson.

The 33-year-old Spaniard, who had girlfriend Katharina Boehm on the bag, holed six birdies and two bogeys on a solid final day at Amata Spring Country Club in Chonburi.

"It's feels amazing," Garcia said. " I've been fortunate to play here three times and I've been getting better every year - but it was a great week from the beginning.

"They have taken such great care of us here and Henrik was pushing, he was pushing hard on that front nine.

"I made a couple of pars and he missed a couple of birdie putts. I'm just really happy to come through.

"I want to dedicate this win to my mum who had minor surgery early last week and is now recovering nicely and to my girlfriend who was with me throughout."

Stenson, who recently made history when he became the first player to win the FedEx Cup and Race to Dubai in the same season, matched Garcia's 68 to reach 18-under par.

Frenchman Alexander Levy shot a 69 to finish a further four shots back in third place, while defending champion Charl Schwartzel was tied for fourth with Japan's Yuki Kono, US Open champion Rose and Indian Anirban Lahiri.
