Europe boast the best player in the world in the form of Rory McIlroy and have been labelled as the overwhelming favourites to win at Gleneagles this weekend.

They will be gunning for their third consecutive Ryder Cup victory which included 'The Miracle at Medinah' in 2012, inspired by Ian Poulter's birdies on each of the final five holes.
