McDowell struggling to regain focus after Major triumph

Graeme McDowell has confessed that he is struggling to focus on his golf in the aftermath of his maiden Major win at the US Open.
Since storming to victory at Pebble Beach in June, McDowell has failed to break into the top 20 at each of his subsequent three tournaments.
The world No. 11 attributes this disappointing sequence to the series of pressures he has found himself under after the Major success.
He admits that he is having to endure a frustrating battle as he bids to recapture his best form - and he is hoping to receive advice from Padraig Harrington, a three-time Major winner, on how to overcome his troubles.
"It's been much more difficult than I ever imagined," McDowell told the Belfast Telegraph. "I mentioned to Padraig on Thursday that I would like to go to dinner with him next week. I told him I was struggling with it all a little bit and it's been tough to keep my focus, and he said, 'welcome to my world'.
"You dream of achieving these things but dealing with them is another thing. They're good problems to have and I wouldn't change it for anything but it's frustrating. Everyone reminds me of all the time. The level of intensity, just everything you do makes your weeks busier and makes everything else more difficult.
"I'm still learning how to deal with that, but hopefully I'll have a chat with Padraig next week."
