Wilson triumphs after draining final day in Hawaii
Mark Wilson showed his powers of endurance as he emerged at the head of the field after a gruelling final day at the Sony Open.
After completing two rounds on Sunday - the first day had been washed out, necessitating a schedule change - Wilson finished on 16-under, two shots ahead of Tim Clark and Steve Marino.
Wilson began the day in a three-way tie for second, but he surged to the title with consecutive rounds of 65 and 67.
Justin Rose struggled to maintain his charge on the final day, fading at the last with rounds of 68 and 70 that left him with a tie for 13th at seven-under.
