Tiger Woods is drawing on the positives from his fine showing at The Masters.

Woods had another inconsistent week, but surged into contention with a stunning outward nine on Sunday only to falter on the run to the clubhouse.

There were clear signs that he is far more comfortable with his swing changes and he has admitted the buzz of challenging in the majors was a fine feeling.

"I played well and unfortunately came up a little short on the back nine," Woods said. "But it was fun on the front nine on Sunday, I had a blast.

"It was fun being in the mix. Unfortunately I did not get it done but I am starting to feel pretty good.

"It was a pretty good week, I hit some good shots. I was hitting shots I know I can hit and that was exciting."
