Players Championship to honour Seve
The Spanish flag will be flying at the Players Championship in memory of Seve Ballesteros who passed away on Saturday.
The Players Championship is tagged the unofficial fifth major and one of the rewards for victory is to see your national flag flying over the Circle of Champions a year later.
Tim Clark won the event 12 months ago, but the South African has passed up the chance to see his flag fly after informing officials he would prefer the Spanish flag to fly in honour of Ballesteros who lost his battle with cancer.
At the World Golf Hall of Fame in nearby Florida, the Spanish flag has been lowered to half mast, a framed photo of Ballesteros placed in the box office and a black ribbon - which players wore at the weekend - put on his locker door.
