Race winner Rosberg under investigation
British Grand Prix winner Nico Rosberg is being investigated by the stewards after he appeared to speed under yellow flags midway through the race.
Rosberg and a Mercedes team representative have been called to the stewards' office to offer a defence, but if a time penalty is issued it would see him lose at least one place and possibly more. According to the stewards' statement he appeared "to not to slow for the yellow flags in turns 3 to 5 at 14:06". Under the regulations drivers have to slow for yellow flags.
Rosberg won the race by 0.7s from Mark Webber after a tense final few laps and was seven seconds clear of the battle between Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton for third. Kimi Raikkonen finished fifth, 11 seconds off Rosberg.
