Alonso and Hamilton hit with post-race penalties

Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso have both been slapped with 20-second penalties following the Malaysian Grand Prix.

Hamilton, who dropped from seventh to eighth in the final standings as a result, was given his for changing his line more than once while defending his position. Alonso's was for making contact with Hamilton while attempting to overtake on lap 46, but it had no effect on his sixth place finish.

Both were given post-race drive-through penalties which translate to 20 seconds being added to their final race time.

Kamui Kobayashi was promoted from eighth to seventh in the Sauber.
