Auction date set for Marussia assets

The administrators for the Marussia Formula One team are planning to auction off the team's assets and equipment later this month.
Marussia entered administration in October and ceased trading last month despite an attempt to attend the final race of the season in Abu Dhabi. By order of joint administrators from FRP Advisory an auction of various assets will be held on December 16th and 17th.
Items up for sale include full race cars minus the engines, which are owned by Ferrari, spare parts and the team's race trucks. The auction of the items suggests any plans to sell to the team in its current guise have fallen through.
