Taylor on course for Njokuani test at UFC 138

England's Paul Taylor is set to face Anthony Njokuani at UFC 138 in Birmingham, with reports suggesting at least one fighter has agreed to the lightweight match-up.

Taylor is in the hunt for back-to-back wins for the first time since joining the UFC more than five years ago, having KOd Gabe Ruediger in the second round at UFC 126. He was scheduled to face Donald Cerrone at UFC Live, but was forced to withdraw due to injury.

Njokuani picked up his first UFC triumph with a unanimous points win over Andre Winner at UFC 132, getting the job done thanks to a vicious opening-round assault. Of his last eight wins, that was the only one not to come via KO.

Chris Leben and Mark Munoz will headline the card at UFC 138, which is taking place at the LG Arena.
