British debutant Lee gets Cariaso at UFC 138

British MMA fans will get a look at a debutant at UFC 138 after Vaughan Lee was confirmed for the November 5 card, in a bout against Chris Cariaso.

The Birmingham event will be stacked with English fighters, with the likes of Brad Pickett, Terry Etim, Paul Taylor and John Hathaway all featuring. A middleweight square-off between Chris Leben and Mark Munoz tops the bill.

Lee's opponent has now been confirmed as Cariaso, who is coming off a points loss to Michael McDonald. Lee himself rides into the UFC having won four of his last five.

Having initially attempted to get on season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter, the Brit will now get his chance on an even greater stage. Lee always comes to fight, winning 10 of his 11 victories by stoppage.

He has been in with strong competition already, taking Pickett into the third round before eventually getting stopped. Lee will now get to display that pedigree in the UFC's 135lb division later this year.
