Scanlon and Head added to Birmingham card

Mark Scanlon will face James Head in the latest fight to be added to the UFC 138 card in Birmingham on November 5.

Both fighters suffered defeat on their first appearance in the UFC, with Head now dropping down to welterweight to face his Team Kaobon opponent.

Scanlon lost a decision to Pascal Krauss at UFC 122 at the end of last year - albeit picking up fight of the night honours process - while Head was caught out by a choke against Nick Ring at UFC 131 in June.

Scanlon is the third Team Kaobon fighter to be added to the card for the LG Arena, with Terry Etim set to take on former WEC fighter Edward Faalaloto and Paul Taylor squaring off against Anthony Njokuani.
