Condit: St-Pierre won't recognise me

Carlos Condit insists Georges St-Pierre will not have a blueprint of how to beat him at UFC 154, because The Natural Born Killer changes his game every time he fights.

St-Pierre and Condit have both been guided by coach Greg Jackson at certain stages in their career, but Jackson will be in neither corner come November 17.

The welterweight duo have long been linked by the influence of Jackson, although they have never been close training partners. When it comes to either man having inside knowledge in Montreal, Condit insists it is impossible for St-Pierre because the champ will be facing an ever-evolving fighter.

"I'm a different fighter every time I come out," Condit said. "I have a lot of weapons in my arsenal, my strength, my conditioning has improved a massive amount - mentally I'm in a great place.

"We're both at a disadvantage, we're both missing Greg, whose a big component of our training, our preparation, our strategy.

"The last 10 years I've really been passionate about this, especially in the last two or three years, I've really rediscovered my passion and my drive."

Condit is under no illusions as to the size of the task facing him in Canada, where the champion will be the home favourite. St-Pierre has dominated the welterweight scene for five years since his last defeat, and he is arguably the best wrestler in MMA.

"Georges is the best in the world, he's one of the best the world has ever seen," Condit said. "It's a huge fight with a lot of buzz around it... those are the fights I want to be in.

"Georges is a very technical, precise striker. Good jab, good fundamentals.

"Fighting him in his hometown might throw a lot of guys off, but I'll block all that out. I'm on the precipice of achieving my life goal."
