UFC president Dana White made a potential superfight between Georges St-Pierre and Anderson Silva even more real on Thursday, revealing he would plan the bout for May 2013.

St-Pierre defends his UFC welterweight title against Carlos Condit in Montreal on Saturday. If he wins, it is expected he will meet Silva.

White has previously spoken of the stadium he would use for such an occasion, with the Cowboys Stadium in Dallas pinpointed, but now he has even hinted at the month. And it isn't as far away as many might expect after Silva said he won't fight for a year.

"[Silva] always comes out and says this stuff. I don't know why he does it or why he says the things he says," White told ESPN's Sportscenter. "I guarantee you, he will be there Saturday.

"If Georges St-Pierre wins, those two will fight and it'll probably be in May.

"Anderson Silva will be there this Saturday watching, and if [St-Pierre] wins, it'll be a huge fight for us. It'll probably be the biggest fight in UFC history; definitely be the biggest gate."
