Dereck Chisora has been arrested by German police in Munich following a brawl with David Haye at a press conference on Saturday.

Chisora and Haye came to blows after a war of words erupted following Chisora's loss to Vitali Klitschko in their WBC heavyweight title fight. Chisora was critical of Haye's performance against Wladimir Klitschko last year; Haye goaded his rival for his unimpressive recent record - three losses in his last four fights.

Following the skirmish, in which Haye appeared to punch Chisora whilst holding a bottle, Chisora threatened to shoot his fellow Brit, who retired from boxing last year.

On Sunday, Chisora was taken from an airport in Munich to police headquarters, where the arrest was made. Police are searching for Haye, but remain unaware of his whereabouts.

Police spokesman Gottfried Schlicht said to Sky Sports: "We have to investigate what happened, and then give our report to the court. At the moment, I can't tell you how long the process will take. Mr. Chisora has to stay here for the investigation until it is ended. The court may also have some questions for him."
