Arthur Abraham has taunted Carl Froch ahead of their eagerly anticipated Super Six clash, proclaiming the Nottingham fighter is still haunted by his defeat to Mikkel Kessler.

Froch, 33, lost his unbeaten record and the WBC super-middleweight title when he was outpointed by Denmark's Kessler after a brutal encounter in Herning in April.

'The Cobra', who was adamant he won the bout, had agreed to fight Abraham on October 2 in a bid to get his Super Six campaign back on track, but the Brit has had to withdraw with a back injury.

While a date for the fight has yet to be rescheduled, Abraham is continuing to goad his opponent.

"It is all mental with him," he said in the Daily Mirror. "The Kessler fight is still in the head of Froch."

It is understood that plans are in motion for the contest to be in Monte Carlo on November 27 or December 18, although if Abraham had it his way the fight would be tomorrow.

"What's the problem with him? No one really knows. I want this fight to be re-scheduled as soon as possible. We can't afford to lose time. A boxing career is too short, and I want to fight every three months. It is very tough waiting. Right now, the battle between us is all mental, because we are evenly matched," he said in the Daily Telegraph.
