Paul Casey and Ian Poulter have traded places in the world rankings, with Casey climbing up to fifth in the world following his impressive effort at the WGC-CA Championship.

Casey finished in joint sixth behind Ernie Els at Doral, lifting him above Poulter who slipped back a place despite carding a 64 on the final day.

Els ended a two-year barren spell with victory and the success propelled him 12 places up the standings to eighth, while fellow South African Charl Schwartzel is up to a career high 27 after finishing second at Doral.

Padraig Harrington looked far happier with his game and a tied-third finish moved him back into the top ten, but Rory McIlroy toppled two places to 11.

The top four in the rankings remain unaltered, with Tiger Woods leading the way from Steve Stricker, Phil Mickelson and Lee Westwood.
