Sergio Garcia still has a three-shot lead in the Bridgestone Invitational. It just doesn't feel that big.

Garcia had a six-shot lead at one point on Saturday until he made his first bogey in 38 holes and wound up with a three-under 67. Rory McIlroy made a late charge, closing with back-to-back birdies for the second straight day and shooting a 66.

They will be in the final pairing on Sunday at the event, a renewal of sorts from the final round at The Open. McIlroy had a big lead at Hoylake. Now it's Garcia's turn to see if he can hold on at Firestone.

"I came here this week talking about wanting to just keeping the momentum going and not really dwell on The Open too much and keep moving forward and I have done that really well this week," McIlroy said.

"I'm obviously really excited to give myself another chance to win a tournament tomorrow. I drove it great at the Open as well and have been driving it great all year and that's why my results have been pretty good. Driving is the foundation of my game and if it's good it seems like everything feeds down from there and I've never driven the ball better than I am right now."

Marc Leishman is nine-under while Adam Scott, Keegan Bradley and Justin Rose are tied for fourth place on eight-under. Defending champion Tiger Woods is one-over for the tournament after he cared one birdie, one bogey and a double bogey on the sixth hole on Saturday.
