Lewis Hamilton admits he doesn't know where he will be racing next season amid speculation he could move to Mercedes.

McLaren moved to deny rumours yesterday that Hamilton was close to agreeing a deal to replace Michael Schumacher at Mercedes, and in today's press conference Hamilton offered no comment on the rumours. When asked if he knows where he will be driving next year, Hamilton simply replied: "No."

When it was put to Hamilton that Mercedes has won just one grand prix in the last three years compared to McLaren winning the last two races, Hamilton said he was ignoring the speculation to concentrate on this weekend's race at Monza.

"I don't think I'm really looking to put anything in to perspective. I drive for McLaren, we've won the last two races, we've got another great weekend hopefully ahead of us and that's what I need to focus on."

Hamilton later only named McLaren as a team that his management team is speaking to.

"Nothing's been signed, my management are in discussions with McLaren and nothing's really changed."

Having won in Canada, the similarity in circuit characteristics has made Hamilton one of the favourites this weekend, but it's not a tag he fully agrees with.

"I don't know, it's just a completely different place for us, with great history, great racing and one that I've not won at before. So I'm trying to just remain focused, regardless of all of the stuff that's surrounding, and just trying to focus on getting some more good results for the team."
