Alonso picks up a Spanish flag to wave on his slow-down lap. The Spanish crowd are cheering him around the lap as he takes both hands off the steering wheel to celebrate.

It was a comfortable victory in the end as Ferrari just has much better race pace - as they did in China too. Raikkonen put up a good fight with one less pit stop than the Ferraris, but Alonso had it in the bag after the early stops. His start was crucial as he made it up to third in the first three corners.

Fantastic scenes at the Circuit de Catalunya. Alonso and Massa celebrate with their team. Raikkonen heads for the podium knowing he now has a four-point gap to the lead of the championship. That was his third consecutive second place.

Lap 66

ALONSO WINS IN SPAIN!

Raikkonen second, Massa third, Vettel fourth. Double podium for Ferrari - a great result for the Italian team as Red Bull have to play damage limitation.

Rosberg takes sixth ahead of di Resta and Button leads him team-mate Perez. Ricciardo holds onto the final point

Alonso starts his final lap with an 11.8s lead on Raikkonen. Massa is now 15.5s off but still clear of Vettel. Webber is comfortably in fifth. Di Resta has lost time to Rosberg now and probably won't find a way past.

Lap 65

Once again, di Resta doesn't quite have the pace to pass into turn one. My mistake on the lap count he now has two more attempts into turn one. But it's the rest of the lap where he looks quicker and they are now coming up on back markers.

Another good battle is for the final point with Gutierrez 0.5s off Ricciardo.

Lap 64

Di Resta has a look around the outside of turn one but didn't have the top speed. He is clearly quicker though and will have at least two more goes at it before the end of the race.

Massa has now backed off and is 13.0s adrift of Raikkonen and 13.9 clear of Vettel.

Lap 63

Raikkonen meanwhile is 12.4s off Alonso so Ferrari is still playing it cool at the back.

Di Resta is still stuck behind Rosberg and reminded to use his DRS. It looks like he should try to pass soon.

Perez has now backed off a bit behind Button so that radio message clearly hit home.

Lap 62

Massa radios to complain of oversteer, but I'm not surprised as his left-rear will have been taking a pounding on his pace. Considering Ferrari were concerned about making an extra stop it's silly that he tried to push. Anyway, he should still make the end of the race.
