There is still no official confirmation, but the evidence is overwhelming with regard to the relationship that has seemingly blossomed between Rory McIlroy and Caroline Wozniacki, with the Ulsterman in the crowd for the Dane's opening match at the Western & Southern Open.

Talk has been fierce since the pair were photographed together outside a London cafe and following the US PGA Championship, McIlroy said: "I'm actually going to go to Cincinnati for a few days. I hear it's nice there this time of year."

With Wozniacki already in Cincinnati for the WTA event, it only added fuel to the fire with regard to a possible relationship.

Wozniacki stepped on court for the first time this week against Christina McHale and there were as many eyes trained towards her camp as on the No. 1 seed.

And as the pair warmed up, McIlroy made his way courtside. McIlroy is nursing the wrist he injured at the US PGA Championship and he is highly likely to be in attendance for the remainder of Wozniacki's games and in all probability the US Open in a couple of weeks' time.
