STORY OF THE ROUND
Upsets were hard to find in the second round of the FA Cup, but the big story came at stadium:mk as AFC Wimbledon made the trip to face their arch enemies MK Dons - who they feel stole their place in the Football League. But it was the "franchise" club from League One who beat League Two strugglers Wimbledon 2-1 as defender Jon Otsemobor popped up two minutes into injury time to bag the winner. The only real upset came at Crewe as a goal from Calvin Zola sent League Two Burton Albion through at the expense of the side from the division above.
GOAL OF THE ROUND
Peter Vincenti (Aldershot) Accrington's James Beattie and Stephen Gleeson of MK Dons both had claims with long-range strikes, but we're giving the award to Vincenti for his first-time curling effort from almost 30 yards which beat the outstretched arm of the goalkeeper to help Aldershot to a 3-2 win at Fleetwood.
PLAYER OF THE ROUND
Shaun Miller (Sheffield United) League One promotion hopefuls Sheffield United seemed to be heading out of the FA Cup as Port Vale, managed by Blades fan and former manager Micky Adams, led 1-0 at Bramall Lane. Step forward Miller, who scored twice in added time to turn defeat into victory and book a place in the next round.
