Williams takes swipe at Tiger

Steve Williams aimed a veiled dig at Tiger Woods following Adam Scott's victory in the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, with the Kiwi caddie claiming the victory capped "the best week of my life".
Williams was on the bag for 13 of Woods' major championship victories, but was sacked earlier in the summer with the former world No. 1 looking for a fresh start.
Scott was quick to offer Williams his bag and the pair have made a fine start to their association. Williams was angry about the way he was jettisoned by Woods, but his mood was eased by Scott's superb victory at Firestone.
With Woods labouring to a one-over score of 281 - 18 shots adrift of Scott's 17-under total - Williams, who rarely gave interviews during his time on Woods' bag, was quick to take a swipe at his former employer.
"I've been caddieing for 33 years, 145 wins, and that's the best week of my life," Williams told CBS.
Scott produced some brilliant golf in the final round to fend off Luke Donald, Jason Day and Ryo Ishikawa and he was delighted with his victory.
"Today it was on; I stayed so patient," Scott said. "It was a good round of golf.
"To win here at this place, and a World Golf Championships - it's huge."
Woods' disappointing showing at the weekend has seen him drop a further two places in the world rankings to 30. Scott is back in the top 10, while Rory McIlroy limbered up for the US PGA Championship with a top-six finish and his reward is a rise in the rankings to No. 4. Luke Donald remains world No. 1.
