World No. 111 Jason Bohn claimed his second Tour victory after emerging victorious at the Zurich Classic.

Bohn took the tournament by two shots from Jeff Overton after carding a five-birdie 67 that left him 18-under overall. Troy Merritt finished third on 14-under after a remarkable final round that featured five birdies and an eagle on holes seven to 13.

In a tournament that was disrupted by the weather, Bohn was forced to finish off his third round and complete his fourth on Sunday.

At the halfway point of his final 18 holes, it seemed like Bohn would lack the durability to sustain a challenge for the title. His lead had been frittered away, and he had hit just half of his fairways as his wayward teeshots betrayed the fatigue that was creeping into his game.

He fought back, however, to find four birdies on the back nine as his accuracy on the greens helped to compensate for his occasionally wild drives. Bohn's victory is only the second time he has secured a top-ten finish on the PGA Tour this year.

Greg Owen, who finished in a tie for 16th at eight-under, was the highest-placed Brit in New Orleans. His final round of 72 - two birdies, two bogeys - was his worst of the tournament; he needed 33 putts across the last 18 holes, eight more than he had required in his first round.

Justin Rose ended up four-under through 72 holes to finish in a tie for 43rd. Although Rose played solidly throughout the competition, he was unable to break 70 in any of his four rounds. That was not true of his compatriot Brian Davis - he carded a second-round 66, but he was all over the place during a final-day 76.

Davis would complete the tournament two-under, four shots better than Sergio Garcia. The Spaniard, who has this year played well below the level of which he is capable, once more failed to overcome his demons on the putting surface during a four-over final round.
