Rest for Tiger after tests show inflammation

Tiger Woods has not set a return date after discovering the full extent of his neck injury.
The world No. 1 withdrew from the final round of the Players Champion at Sawgrass on Sunday after complaining of discomfort in his neck, and an MRI scan on Wednesday revealed he had an inflamed facet joint.
Woods is expected to make a full recovery, but in a statement on his official website he refused to commit to a return date.
"I want to thank everyone for their caring and concern," Woods said. "I now need to take care of this condition and will return to playing golf when I'm physically able."
Woods will now undergo a course of treatment, including anti-inflammatory drugs and physiotherapy.
The statement on Woods' website concluded: "A return date to competitive golf is contingent on how quickly the condition heals. The layoff is not expected to be extensive but can vary."
