Westwood leads English charge

Francesco Molinari maintained his one-stroke lead over Lee Westwood after the third round of the WGC-HSBC Champions tournament in Shanghai while fellow Englishmen Luke Donald and Ross Fisher lead the chasing pack.
World No.1 Westwood has never been quite able to catch Molinari and he now only has one day remaining in his pursuit although the Italian needed a superb eagle at the 13th in his five-under round of 67 to keep a hold of his advantage at 14-under.
Westwood's round was much steadier than the leader's, which also featured two bogeys, as the English star holed five birdies spread throughout a bogey-free day's play. The two leaders opened up distance on most of their nearest rivals, with Donald doing the most to stay in touch with a four-under round of 68 which leaves him 10-under in total, four strokes behind Molinari.
Fisher, Ernie Els and Scot Richie Ramsay are next on the leaderboard at eight under while Paul Casey shot his best round of the tournament, a five-under 67, to move to five under.
In a relatively steady day, Ireland's Padraig Harrington threatened to join the leaders after holing a miraculous albatross at the par 5 14th to move to eight under, but two bogeys on his remaining holes saw him drop off the pace once more.
