- AT&T National, Round One
Slick Scott at top of the leaderboard

Adam Scott surged to the top of the leaderboard after the first round of the AT&T National after a clinically compiled round of 66 saw him sit at four-under.
On a testing layout at Aronimink GC, the Australian dropped just one shot (at the par-four 10th) during the course of his round, picking up five birdies- including one at the 18th that enabled him to jump into the clubhouse lead.
He was joined at the top late in the day by Hunter Haas, who started on the 10th and was propelled by a run of four consecutive birdies between his fourth and seventh holes of the day. Reaching the heady heights of five-under at one point, a bogey on his 16th ultimately ensured he could only match Scott's early pace.
A number of players had earlier finished at three-under, including previous PGA Tour winner this season Jhonattan Vegas, who didn't drop a single shot on his way to an opening round of 67. Kyle Stanley, Dean Wilson and Joe Ogilvie are also nicely poised at the same number.
Rickie Fowler is handily placed at two-under after a round that included five birdies and three bogeys, putting him level with a number of Americans including Justin Leonard, Robert Garrigus, Bill Haas and Pat Perez.
Justin Rose endured an unremarkable opening round in the tournament he won last year, seeing his three birdies cancelled out be three bogeys as he could only manage a level-par score that nevertheless keeps him in touch with the early leaders.
Amateur Patrick Cantlay continued his solid recent run with a matching round of 70 - although it could have been much better after he reached two-under after three holes - while Englishman Brian Davis birdied his final two holes of the day to leave himself inside the top 50 after a round of 71.
