The All Blacks may have The Rock [Dwayne Johnson] and The Hoff [David Hasselhoff] in their corner, but the Wallabies have received celebrity backing of their own with American martial artist and movie star Chuck Norris throwing his support behind Australia as they head into their Rugby World Cup final against New Zealand.

Appearing on Australia's Channel 9 morning show Today, Norris said he'd been a fan of rugby for several years, especially the Wallabies.

"I went over there [Australia] to promote a movie and I went to a rugby match and I fell in love with the sport," the legendary movie star said. "To me it's one of the most rugged sports there are out there, I like rugged stuff and I became a big fan of rugby.

"The New Zealand All Blacks have the Maori war dance, but the Wallabies are going to have the power of the Chuck Norris' spirit there to help them win the game and they are going to win the World Cup."
