Westwood's caddie Foster says no to Tiger

Lee Westwood's caddie Billy Foster has distanced himself from speculation that he wants to be on the bag for the returning Tiger Woods, admitting he could not face leaving his "best mate".
Woods will tee it up at WGC-Bridgestone Invitational on Thursday, marking his comeback from injury by playing his first round of competitive golf since May. He will do so without Steve Williams, who carried the 14-time major champion's bag for 13 years, with Woods giving the honour to long-term friend Byron Bell.
Bell is likely to carry on in the role at next week's USPGA Championship, although Woods has admitted he is on the lookout for a permanent caddie and has already received a number of applications.
Foster, who caddied for Woods at the 2005 Presidents Cup while Williams returned home to be at the birth of his son, has been tipped to succeed the New Zealander. However, Foster has formed a strong partnership with the world No. 2 Westwood over the last two years and is happy to stick with the Englishman.
"I'm not going, Lee's my best mate and things are going great," he told Sky Sports News. "It's obviously a fantastic job for somebody and If I wasn't working for Lee I'd love to have a go at it myself. Right now it's a very tough job to leave; Lee's a great player, a great lad and my best mate."
When asked how someone should go about becoming Tiger's bag man, Foster said: "Just say, 'Tiger I'd love to work for you'. Just get in the queue, if your name's not in the ring then you're not going to get it. So why not, you can only ask."
