Poulter pulls out of New Orleans

Ian Poulter has withdrawn from the Zurich Classic in New Orleans with a knee injury.
The word No. 6 was the second-highest ranked player in the field after world No. 3 Steve Stricker and was due to play in the event for the fourth time. He will now take a two-week break before lining up at the Players' Championship on May 6.
"It's a shame to withdraw from New Orleans, injured my knee last week and needs a bit more time, TPC will be my next event," Poulter wrote on his Twitter page.
Poulter finished tenth at the Masters two weeks ago after sharing the lead at the half-way stage with fellow Englishman Lee Westwood. He won his maiden PGA Tour title at the WGC Match Play Championship in February.
He will be replaced in the field by Australia's Mark Hensby.
