- Texas Open, Round Four
Scott seals first PGA title since 2008

Bad weather on Saturday forced the majority of the field to play their third and fourth rounds on the same day. The Australian, who finished in a tie for 26th at the Players Championship, dropped a shot at the last but 12 birdies and one eagle in his final two rounds proved to be enough for the 29-year-old.
"It wasn't the greatest finish but I played really good considering I was one-over-par after three holes," Scott said. "Everything is coming together, although I have been struggling a little with my short irons this week in terms of controlling my distances. It's hot out here and I couldn't quite dial that in."
Scott made 50 out of 50 putts inside six feet before playing the last hole but missed a short one to the left after playing a great recovery shot from a deep greenside bunker.
"I was playing it straight and I pulled it a touch and it went left so it was all a bit of a disaster really. I'm happy with the way I did out there though. Things have been going really good with the putter the last two weeks at the Players Championship and here and that is really good. Everything seems to be going in and rolling at the hole and that makes the game a whole lot more fun."
Fredrik Jacobson chased Scott's clubhouse total right until the end but missed the chance of forcing a play-off by overshooting the green with his approach to the par-five 18th, before leaving his long putt short of the hole. Jacobson also missed a good chance of birdie on the 17th but was happy with his efforts after firing under-par totals in all four rounds.
"I thought I had hit that last approach good but it didn't quite work," Jacobson said. "I was hitting the ball beautifully and the only club that didn't work was the putter really. The last couple of wedge sots I hit felt good but the one on the last just went too far. I'm happy with my efforts though and if I carry on playing like that I will do very well."
Aaron Baddeley looked to be swinging near his best as he recovered from a three-over-par opening round to finish on 12-under in a tie for third place with world No. 7 Ernie Els. The South African also appeared to be getting back to the form which saw him pick up back-to-back PGA titles back in March but he left his title charge too late to catch Scott.
Steve Flesch played his way into contention with a six-under-par third round of 66. However, a final-round 70 containing four birdies and two bogeys saw the American come up short as he ended on 10-under in a tie for seventh.
India's Arjun Atwal enjoyed his best showing in a PGA Tour event as a final-round 70 propelled him to a tie for 16th place at seven-under. 2001 British Open champion David Duval played some great approach shots but failed to back up his accurate iron play with the putter as he trundled to a tie for 30th place on four-under.
Greg Owen recovered from a five-over-par third round of 76 to nick a shot back with a final-round 71 to finish in a tie for 41st on two-under for the four rounds. Sergio Garcia finished a further shot back after closing out with a pair of 73s.
