The Daily Mail reports that the RFU continues to be embroiled in a dispute with the holders of 15,000 debenture seats at Twickenham over their rights to have tickets for the 2015 World Cup.
The IRB rules demand a clean stadium, in other words one where nobody has prior claim to any seats, but this goes against the terms under which debentures at Twickenham were sold.
The newspaper quotes RFU chief executive Ian Ritchie as describing the situation, confusingly, as a "multi-faceted problem" but says he is confident of finding a solution within two months.
